PILTON LOFT CONVERSION UPDATE
The new dormer timber frame is now complete, and work is moving on to the other side of the roof. We’re now stripping everything back ready to install new battens, roofing felt and slates, as well as fitting two new VELUX roof windows to bring plenty of natural light into the new loft space.

The new dormer structure is currently covered with blue tarpaulin to keep everything protected and watertight while the roofing work continues – which is giving the photos their blue tint!

🎬 THE FINAL TRANSFORMATION!
Sit back and watch how we transformed the old Mole Valley offices – a building that had also previously been used as a youth club – from tired, dilapidated offices into three fantastic new flats.
From the initial strip-out and structural work through to new kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, decorating, electrics, plumbing and the external transformation, this video shows the project from start to finish.
A huge amount of work has gone into completely giving this building a new lease of life – and we’re really pleased with the finished result.

We’re making great progress on our dormer loft conversion in Pilton, with the new timber frame now being constructed.
The framework is forming the new dormer structure and you can already begin to see just how much additional space this is going to create within the loft.
From stripping out the original conversion and opening up the roof, we’re now at the exciting stage where the shape of the new room is really starting to become visible.

The first stage of our latest dormer loft conversion is all about stripping everything right back.
We’re ripping out the existing loft interior, including the walls, ceilings, flooring and electrics, ready to expose the existing structure and prepare the space for the next stage of the build.
It might look a little worse before it gets better, but this is where the transformation really begins!

WELCOME TO OUR NEW PROJECT – A DORMER LOFT CONVERSION, PILTON, BARNSTAPLE!
These photos were taken right at the very start of the project, before the transformation gets underway.
We’re working on this terraced property in Pilton, Barnstaple, where we’ll be creating a brand-new dormer loft conversion.
We’ll be stripping out the existing loft conversion and taking it right back before removing part of the existing roof and constructing the new dormer. The new structure will then be finished with external cladding, creating a much bigger and more usable room within the loft. This will additionally add more value to the property.
There’s going to be a huge transformation over the coming weeks, so make sure you follow our page to see the project progress from start to finish!

We’re almost finished!
All internal works are now complete, including the carpets and communal access areas, while the exterior decoration and cladding have also been finished.
We’re now just waiting for the utilities to be connected before handing the completed project back to the client by the end of the month.

Things are really moving at pace now as we approach the final stages of this build.
The scaffold is now down from the front, rear cladding is well underway, all tiling and plumbing are complete, and decoration is finished on the 1st and 2nd floors.
By the end of this week, all carpets and internal decoration should be complete, with the fire alarm system being installed on Thursday and excavation underway for the new water and gas meters.

We’re getting close to completion now, and the final stages are really coming together.
The second floor is now fully decorated, with carpets fitted and the bathroom finished. The first floor decoration is complete, the shower room is nearly finished, floors have been latexed, and carpets are due to be fitted next Wednesday.
All electrics are now complete across all floors, while decoration continues on the ground floor and the kitchen area windows have now been fitted.
Outside, the top deck of scaffolding has been removed and the cladding has started, giving the building a fresh new look as we move closer to completion.
